The Shop Foreman is a vital full-time role responsible for planning, scheduling, and directing shop operations, as well as performing and evaluating repairs. You will play a crucial part in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of county vehicles and equipment, while supervising a skilled team and supporting their growth. As part of your leadership, you’ll be expected to actively participate in repairs, provide technical guidance, delegate tasks, and uphold safety and performance standards. This position may involve working outdoors in adverse weather conditions—ideal for those who excel in dynamic environments. A valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License is a requirement.
