Whitman County is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Program Representative for Emergency Management to join our team in Colfax, WA. In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of essential administrative and financial tasks. Your day-to-day duties will include generating claims, managing payroll processes, preparing reports, maintaining records, and ensuring compliance with county policies and codes. You will also serve as a key point of contact for vendors, county employees, and the public, making strong communication and organizational skills a must.
We are looking for candidates with at least two years of progressively responsible experience in customer service, clerical, bookkeeping, or accounting roles. However, a combination of relevant experience, education, and training will also be considered.
