We are excited to announce an exceptional opportunity for a Full-Time General Manager to join our dedicated team. As General Manager, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of public transportation in Garfield County. You will be responsible for providing leadership, strategic planning, financial oversight, and regulatory compliance, as well as managing day-to-day transit operations. This is a collaborative, community-oriented environment where your work has a meaningful impact on local quality of life.
This full-time, Monday through Friday position offers a competitive salary range of $81,500–$90,000, along with a generous benefits package. The General Manager works closely with the Board of GCTA, employees, community partners, and public agencies to maintain and grow essential transit services. Key responsibilities include budgeting, grant management, accounting, payroll, HR administration, and compliance with state and federal transit regulations.
Candidates should ideally possess a Bachelor’s degree and at least three years of multi-department leadership experience, with strong skills in financial management. Previous experience in public transportation management is preferred.
