Alternatives to Violence of the Palouse (ATVP) is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing direct support and essential services to survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, child abuse, stalking, and other forms of trauma. Based in Pullman, WA, ATVP is recognized for its commitment to advocacy, client-centered care, and public education. Our professional team works tirelessly to help individuals regain control, safety, and dignity during some of the most challenging times of their lives.
We are excited to announce several rewarding job opportunities for compassionate and driven individuals who want to make a meaningful difference. Current openings include Domestic Violence Legal Advocate, Crime Victim Service Center (CVSC) Advocate, Shelter Advocate, and DV Prevention Advocate/Volunteer & Intern Coordinator. All of these roles play a critical part in supporting individuals and families as they rebuild their lives.
Our advocates provide vital legal advocacy, crisis intervention, emotional support, and help with accessing community resources and safety planning. Crisis counselors work closely with law enforcement and local agencies to ensure comprehensive services for those who have experienced harm. Shelter Advocates offer direct support during emergency shelter stays, focusing on both adult and youth clients, helping them navigate difficult decisions, and maintaining a safe environment. Volunteer Coordinators help strengthen our community network by managing volunteer programs and delivering impactful educational presentations.
