About Vineland Cemetery

Vineland Cemetery, managed by Asotin County Cemetery District #1, is seeking a dedicated individual to serve as a Cemetery Commissioner on our board in Clarkston, Washington. This unique role offers the opportunity to shape the future of cemetery management and help maintain a place of reverence and beauty for our local families.
As a Cemetery Commissioner, you will have the privilege of working with a team committed to upholding the legacy and continued care of Vineland Cemetery. We value candidates who are proactive, community-oriented, and have a strong sense of responsibility. Typical qualifications include a willingness to serve, basic organizational skills, and a commitment to act in the community’s best interests. Prior experience in public service, cemetery operations, or non-profit board governance is helpful, but not required. In this volunteer leadership role, you will take part in board discussions, collaborate with district staff, and help oversee cemetery policies, planning, and fiscal responsibility. You’ll help ensure that the cemetery remains a welcoming and well-maintained place for all.
